Passfield 5.7 has arrived, complete with some powerful new features. Here’s a look at what’s new:

Personalise emails with any document template

Many Passfield users have requested this capability so we’re delighted it’s now available. In this latest version, clients can personalise their messages when sending out any one of the system’s document templates, such as sales invoices, purchase orders and so on.

You also have the option of automatically including specific information from the document within the email you send. So for example, you could include the invoice number together with some specific details from each client’s account. It’s then all ready to go whenever you send your routed messages via email.

This capability means you’re able to offer a more personalised service while saving time.

New sophisticated document sorting

Are some of your clients requesting that you sort stock lines within sales documents? This is increasingly becoming a stipulation, so in Passfield 5.7 we’ve made it possible to do exactly that. Not only can you now set up a defined sort order for any document, but you can also group within this. So for instance, you can now print a delivery note that groups and sub totals by pot size. This helps your clients’ goods in process and again, allows you to add value to your service without draining resource.
